Hush

Since posting a few pics on social media a few weeks ago of pre-dinner drinks for my hubbies birthday, I’ve been inundated with messages asking me where we were so I thought I’d share my hidden gem with you all!

Hush is one of my many favourite places to have a pitt stop over the summer months after a burst of retail therapy on Bond Street.. I just love escaping the hoards and heading to the tranquillity of Hush’s fabulous cobbled courtyard tucked away in Mayfair.. whether it’s for lunch, coffee, drinks or early dinner it always relaxes me and gives me a little feeling of being on holiday.

It’s also a members club without ‘membership’. its been around for over 18 years and yet still has a great vibe, a glamourous hotspot to be seen at and people watching too.

I love sitting in the courtyard during these summer months…sipping on a chilled glass of fizz, g&t or a cocktail there’s plenty of choice! munching on a watermelon and feta salad or carpaccio & as the whether changes and we go into the colder months there’s a trendy & chic Brasserie on floor level perfect for lunch & dinner.

It doesn’t stop there if you want to go a bit more upscale, there’s Blades at Hush an Italian dining option, in a dark and cosy 60s setting. Inspired by Bond films and private clubs, Hush is discrete and discerning like a private members club serving hearty meals such as steak and lobster, and then there’s the ‘Aviator bar’ a lounge area serving great cocktails and smooth whiskies amongst many other drinks. You can even take a master class and learn how to make your own cocktails!!

For those of you looking for a great spot to have afternoon tea catching up with friends, birthday celebration, baby shower or treating someone then Hush can accommodate that too, they have a Gin & Jam Afternoon Tea which is the perfect excuse to put some tipple in your teatime.

Something for everyone. It is on the pricey side but a nice treat now and again!
